Update on Bangladesh Mutiny

A few update today 15.03.09:

-There will be no parade on 26th March to mark the Independence Day Celebration due to the Pilkhana BDR uprising and killing of so many officers.

-Scotland Yard will help in advising the Law Enforcement Agency in Bangladesh, not to solve the issue, said British High Commissioner in Bangladesh.

-We feel that uprising in Bangladesh will not stop soon as just after the election and taking office by the new government, so many bad things one after another with bad luck of Sheikh Hasian have been happening in Dhaka.Otherwise why so many burning issues arose in recent time of the government's 2 months tenure. The fire in Basundhara -the biggest Mall is another bad luck.
- Killing of the Chhatra Shibir GS by the Awami League supported Bangladesh Chhatra League (student front) will ignite the fire in the country rather than resolving it. Besides this the economy started to get the bite of the worldwide recession. If natural calamities arise , it will be difficult to feed the 150 million people by the government as they promised during election that prices of the essentials will be kept within poor's reach. Let us hope for the best.

Sheikh Hasina Knew the Possible Mutiny Before Hand?

BDR Mutiny in Bangaldesh

Sheikh Hasina has said last month's mutiny was part of a conspiracy to bring
down her new government.

Hundreds of guardsmen have been arrested in connection with the
mutiny but
hundreds more are still sought.

On Wednesday the authorities said they had identified some of those who
carried out the killings from among mutineers being held.

An audio recording of a subsequent meeting between her and about 2,000 army
officers showed many were angry that troops were not sent in immediately.

Many of the bodies were found to have been mutilated. A handful of civilians
died in the crossfire Due to the miss handling by the  prime minister,
delayed tactics while she and her government seems knew some fact as many
dailies reported earlier that there would be terrorist attack any time soon
(e.g.Daily Zugantar Patrika Headline), then why her government's intelligent department did not
take enough precaution. If not known before hand why she left the Pilkhana "Darbar Hall"
without completing the ceremony that was running there on 24th Feb 2009 and
still continued
on 25th while those unarmed officers and their innocent families were present
and the Government did not bother to respond to their calls for SOS!

Now many agency started investigations, backed by the Lt. Col Farooq -the
Commerce Minister of Bangladesh or by Mr. Anisuzzaman -the Ex-secretary , FBI,
Scotland Yard etc. but will there be a transparent investigation where people of
Bangladesh will come to know the real fact if Sheikh Hasina and her Government
do not provide the actual fact?

Bangladesh Mutiny

Bangaldesh Mutiny

Bangladesh Mutiny
On 25th & 26th of February 2009 in the BDR Camp at Pilkhana,Dhaka, the rebels BDR soldiers who jumped on the Army Officers and killed them and many of their family members by brutal murders, rapes, loots, hacking, dragging, bayoneted. We will open this Blogs to all peace loving Bangladeshis to share their stories and review what happened during the Mutiny and what responsibilities the Government of Sheikh Hasina
and others who knew the plot before hand. Why despite the calls from the Officers and their families to get help were not responded by Sheikh Hasina while she was discussing negotiation with the Rebel Leader Gen. Tawhid. He was pretending to discuss with Sheikh Hasina while his rebel comrades silently killed all the officers without a single bullet was fired from the strong soldiers already mobilised outside the Pilhana Gate.

It is noted that 2 junior ministers of Sheikh Hasina which included oen Mr. Jahangir Kabir Nanak-the renowned gunda who entered into the garrison while without even inquiring the whereabouts of the Army Officers like Brig. Gen. Shakil Ahmed and his wife or other officers' families. Why? Who knows the insights what heppened that led no action from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh while the ill President Mr. Zillur Rahman who is the C-in-C of Armed Forces. He did not say a few words in many days of the revolution. Why? Was he worried? Was he sick? Then why Sheikh Hasina selected a sick person as the President. Because he has been always loyal to her. But what the constitution says. The President must be fit by health and body and mind to face any action arises at the moment.
Please keep on reading as we will bring more about the BDR Mutiny in this Blog. Your views are welcome at the comments.
